Time Frames for Invisalign

Exam/Consultation

At smile center, our exams are completley free and include basic x-rays. Here you can discuss your treatment with our orthodontist specialsit one on one.

Orthodontic Profile

The most Important step Is to have you take an orthodontic profile. This Is a combination of Intra-oral Images, panoramic xrays, and 3D Imaging that Is sent directly to Invisalign.

Recieve 3D Preview

Usally after a few weeks, Invisalign will get back with a 3D render of how your smile will look from start to finish. It will also show us the amount of trays you will need for the Invisalign treatment.

Approve and Start

Braces adjustments are done every 2 months. Damon Q systems are specifically made to space out appointments to 6–10 weeks. You’re still making great progress just with fewer visits! Since conventional braces dont tighten as strong as Damon Q then they need sooner adjustments!

**At the end of every braces treatment, Dr Sigrid recommends permanent retainers to avoid any new movements/shifting. At the end of the treatment we also do the removal of the braces and a cleaning. Dental cleanings will be done through out the braces process and you will be notified one or two adjustments ahead of time.
